The Free School Supply Distribution Program of Bronx Bangladesh Association (BBA), one of the largest social organizations in North America, was held on Monday. The BBA has distributed free school supplies among about eight students of the Bangladesh community studying at different schools in New York from 6am to 8pm on Sunday, September 5, at the Golden Palace of Storling Union Port Road in Bronx’s Bangla Bazaar.
President of the organization N Islam Mamun chaired the meeting and General Secretary Kamal Uddin and Manager of the Storming Pharmacy Ali was present on the occasion as a guest, local Assemblyman Luis Sepulveda, President of Bangladesh-American Community Council, lawyer Md. Najumdar Master of Law, Former President of Bangladesh Society Kamal Ahmed, Assemblyman Hossereverera, Chairman of Starlighting Pharmacy, Abdul Chowdhury Zaki, Judicial Delegate of New York District District 87 and President of Bangladeshi-American Women Association Rexona Majumder, Secretary of Bangladesh-American Community Council Nazrul Huq, general secretary of BND, Solaiman Ali, or President Farida Yasmin Akhter, general secretary Manzoor Hossain Chowdhury of Bangladesh community of North Bronx Jaglul, vice-president Rafiqul Islam bieenadiesa.
Former Vice President Jalalabad Association Abdul Bachir Khan, Senior Vice President of Greater Comilla Society Khabir Uddin Bhuiyan, Vice President of Bronx Bangladesh Association Mozaffar Hossain and many prominent people of the community were present. Organizations of the organization distributed these school items among the guests with the invited guests. Students and students get the pleasure of these materials. In addition to the guardians of the students, a large number of expatriates were present. The guests thanked the organizers for distributing free school supplies among the students. They appreciated these exceptional initiatives.
